A message from Kathy Hanson:

My heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers, runners and spectators who made the WDF and RATW 5K race on July 14, 2018 a success.  Each of you played a very specific part in making it all work.  The weather was perfect.  And now that we are having a bit of a rainy season, I bet you are glad for the umbrellas.  To those runners who signed up on race day and did not receive one, please contact me at Kathy Hanson as there are a few left over .  I can make them available at the Dog Days on Sunday.

The Winter Half Marathon Program concluded Sunday April 8th at the B&A Trail Marathon and Half.  Thirty-nine of the 176 who registered, and perhaps a few more, competed in either the full or half marathon.  Ninety-seven runners participated in more than 75% of the group long runs…an average of 61 enthusiastic and happy faces each Saturday AM.  They dodged snow, but not the chill as they ran for 11 weeks in an average temp of 32, with a low of 14 and a high of 44 degrees.  On Monday evening April 9th about 25 gathered at Union Jack’s in Annapolis Towne Centre to celebrate the conclusion of the training season with Coaches Michael Myers and Dave Dold.  Everyone is looking forward to a summer of running.
