South River High School

201 Central Ave East

Edgewater, MD 21037

Join us for the 45th running of the region’s OTHER “cherry”-related 10 miler! Ours may not be the flattest of routes, but you’re sure to enjoy the scenery of Anne Arundel County’s countryside, and the preregistration fees of $10 for Striders members or $15 for non-members are a bargain. (Note: If you signed up for the full 2024 Champ Series, you are already registered for Cherry Pit and you do not need to sign up again!)

Online registration ends March 18, 11:59 pm

The B&A Trail Marathon & Half-Marathon is a fast, fun, well-supported, and low-pressure event along the B&A Trail. The Annapolis Striders held the first B&A Trail Marathon in 1992 and added the half marathon in 1996.

For more information and registration

The B&A Trail Marathon and Half-Marathon will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2024. Numerous volunteer opportunities remain available in connection with this race and you can apply for them on RunSignUp link by clicking on the volunteer button.

A lot of folks have volunteered already and it appears as though we have three of the six aid stations staffed. In addition, we have assurances that as in the past, the U.S. Naval Academy will come through with a host of volunteers.
