Registration for the 14th Annual Rosaryville Veteran’s Day Trail Run is officially open.
This highly anticipated trail race is scheduled to take place on November 11th, 2023 at Rosaryville State Park at 8 am. New to this year’s race is the 20K option. That’s right, you now have the option of running a 50K or 20K.
Runners are encouraged to sign up early to secure their spot for this classic trail race with old school feel.
The Rosaryville State Park course is a true gem for trail runners in search of a challenging yet picturesque route. With the majority of the course winding through deep woods, runners will be treated to stunning views of Maryland’s natural beauty. The trail itself is largely buffed out single track making it accessible to runners of all skill levels. The race starts and finishes at the Pavilion picnic area, a short distance from the perimeter trail entrance. There will also be two aid stations along the way to help keep runners hydrated and energized. For those who need to drop off any bags or gear, there will be a designated area just before the second aid station, which is only a short walk from the Start/Finish line.
Annapolis Striders membership is required to participate in these training programs. There is no fee for the training programs but you must register.
Keep an eye on this section for announcements about training programs!

Local Group Runs
Are you looking for a group of friendly faces to meet consistently and with which to run? Here is a consolidated list of local area group runs open to anyone interested. While most of these groups have members of the Annapolis Striders in them, this is not an endorsement by the Annapolis Striders, Inc. It’s a way to find other people to run with almost every day of the week.
Our race begins just before sunrise on a scenic Montgomery County road and quickly transitions into a tour of beautiful Rock Creek Park. As you run through the park you’ll experience the sun rising through the tree cover and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. Mile markers help keep you on track and we also have an excellent pace team ready to help you reach your goals if you’d like.
Of course, elite runners will run for free, and organizers are offering a discount to registration of $5 off for other runners. The discount code is PHM23CLUB. and the price of registration will increase on May 15.

The PRO-Vision Memorial Foundation was established in 2023 in memory and honor of Paul Robert Overton, an exceptional son, brother, friend, and leader in the Severna Park Maryland area. A motivator and passionate man who lived life to the fullest and for others. This foundation seeks to pay tribute to Paul’s Legacy of perseverance, righteousness, and optimism by supporting families in need of medical equipment for home healthcare and nutritional needs.
Semper Fi & America’ s Fund MCM (Marine Corps Marathon) Team
October 29, 2023
Semper Fi & America’s Fund is a non-profit that assists injured service members and their families. The MCM is currently sold-out – but we have bibs available.
During the MCM we host a team of 200 injured service members and their families, as well as a team of Community Athletes who fundraise for us to receive a guaranteed bib to the MCM. The MCM is our largest fundraiser and our chance to connect runners with our service members and thank them for their support. It becomes an experience the Community Athletes never forget and a chance to support through sport.
Sunday, November 12, 2023-Run, walk or both across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.
Don’t miss out on the chance to run or walk over the Chesapeake Bay. The beloved Maryland tradition returns with a 10-kilometer, 6.2-mile point-to-point course will take runners over the eastbound span of the 4.35-mile-long Chesapeake Bay Bridge, which reaches 186 feet at its tallest point. Participants will experience water vistas dotted with sailboats and cargo ships from atop a major dual-span bridge that doesn’t allow pedestrian traffic at any other time of the year. This event happens once a year and is the only way to cross this majestic span on foot.
