Downs Park 5 Miler
The Hogneck Scamper The Down’s Park 5 Mile Run, originally the Hogneck Scamper, is a loop course on paved trails within John H. Down’s Memorial Park. The scenic course winds through the woods with gorgeous views of the Chesapeake Bay. This race is the sixth race of the Championship Series.
Originally known as the Valentine’s Twesome Relay, this race was merged with the Washington’s Birthday 5k to become the Valentine’s 5K. It is the first race of the Annapolis Striders Championship Series for the calendar year and is typically held the second weekend of February at Kinder Farm Park.
