Many thanks to the volunteers who gave of their time and helped to make this race a success. A special thanks goes to the Great Harvest Bread Co. for the chocolate chip cookies, to Dunkin Donuts Cape St. Claire for the donuts, and to Evelyn’s Restaurant for the 5% off.
We will run the same modified course as 2022 due to conflict with Naval Academy use of Greenbury Point. The course is a fast and flat scenic 2.4-mile loop, primarily on packed dirt paths around Greenbury Point Nature Reserve and Possum Point across the Severn River from the U.S. Naval Academy.
We still need some volunteers to help out on race day. On race morning we need some help unloading and setting up before the race. During the race we need monitors and water stop help. Contact Race director here

The MCM is our largest fundraiser and our chance to connect runners with our service members and thank them for their support. It becomes an experience the Community Athletes never forget and a chance to support through sport.
Sunday, November 12, 2023-Run, walk or both across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.
Don’t miss out on the chance to run or walk over the Chesapeake Bay. The beloved Maryland tradition returns with a 10-kilometer, 6.2-mile point-to-point course will take runners over the eastbound span of the 4.35-mile-long Chesapeake Bay Bridge, which reaches 186 feet at its tallest point. Participants will experience water vistas dotted with sailboats and cargo ships from atop a major dual-span bridge that doesn’t allow pedestrian traffic at any other time of the year. This event happens once a year and is the only way to cross this majestic span on foot.
