As we transition into a new running season, please remember to wear lights and/or reflective wear when running in the dark!!
Running lights can help provide runners with visibility to see the path ahead and will help motorists or other runners see you.
It’s that time of year again to nominate
your favorite runner!
Please fill out our annual awards form with information about someone who you feel is deserving. Please take time to read the requirements of each award. The link is attached below. Nominations are due by December 1st.
The flat, scenic course winds through the woods with gorgeous views of the Chesapeake Bay. Portions of the paved path contain tree roots, potholes and other natural hazards. There are raised edges at either end of the wooden bridge.
The course is mostly in deep woods at Rosaryville State Park, though there is some running in meadows also. The trail is largely single track; not very technical. The Start (also the Finish) is at the Pavilion picnic area about three quarters of a mile from where the runners enter the single-track perimeter trail. Hot food after the race starting about 11:30. The race will end at 4:00pm.
The course has two aid stations. There will be a bag drop just before the second aid station, a short walk from the Start/Finish.
To volunteer or for more information not found on the website, contact Tom DeKornfeld (410-562-4489) OR
The Anniversary Run is a double loop course on paved trails within Quiet Waters Park. A few hills and a winding path through the woods make for an interesting morning. Portions of the paved path contain tree roots, potholes and other natural hazards. There are several wooden bridges on the course that may be slippery. Please use caution on this course, and especially on the bridges.
Stay tuned to the E-Streak for future meeting locations.

For the past 20 years, the SOME Trot for Hunger has been the largest and only Thanksgiving Day 5K in DC. But hunger isn’t tied to one season, or even one place. This year, join us for America’s Trot for Hunger as we shine a spotlight on this issue nationwide.
Now in its 21st year, the Trot transforms Freedom Plaza & Pennsylvania Avenue on Thanksgiving into a family-friendly race, finisher festival, celebration, and community day of service. We are excited for our community to join us as we turn Thanksgiving into a day of gratitude AND action.
Stick a fork in hunger by joining us in-person or virtually on Thanksgiving Day and throughout the month of November.
