Please join us for the Downs Park 5 Mile Run. The flat, scenic course winds through the woods with gorgeous views of the Chesapeake Bay.
Parking, bib pickup, start, finish and refreshments are all located in or near the Fernwood Pavilion at the end of the park road. PARK IN DESIGNATED LOTS ONLY. DO NOT PARK ON THE GRASS.
Water will be available at approximately mile 2.5 on the course. Baby joggers or strollers are prohibited.
Online registration through RunSignUp.com opens on August 1 and closes on October 27, 2023.
Registration fee is $10.00 for Annapolis Striders members, $15.00 for non members.
Race day registration is available for $25, cash or check payable to Annapolis Striders.

Course
The flat, scenic course winds through the woods with gorgeous views of the Chesapeake Bay. Portions of the paved path contain tree roots, potholes and other natural hazards. There are raised edges at either end of the wooden bridge. PLEASE BE CAREFUL.
Aid Stations
Water will be available at approximately mile 2.5 (halfway mark) on the course.

Workers runs are provided as a way for club members to both volunteer and maintain their Championship Series or club Ironman standing. Consult the Championship Series rules for details or the race director and Championship Series Coordinator with questions.
A Workers Run for this race will be held: Please run a 5-mile course anytime in the week prior to the race. There will be no official workers run.
