Open to 5-14 year olds, who are Annapolis Striders Members, this program implements games and activities designed to encourage youngsters and build the stamina required for a one mile run; 4 loops around an athletic field track. The program is conducted assuming zero running experience and is designed to be fun and memorable; while achieving the goal of completing a 1 mile run, John Wall mile or the Jr Striders one mile on July 19th. Training will be Monday evenings 5:30-6:30 pm through July 19th, weather dependent. Children will be divided up by age and ability.
