2018 Moore’s Marines Marathon Training

Come join our 18 week Moore’s Marines Marine Corps Marathon Training Program targeting the Marine Corps Marathon !

Our target race is the Marine Corps Marathon (“MCM”), but we will also provide a plan for the Baltimore Marathon. Regardless of which race you target, you must sign up for your marathon ON YOUR OWN. This program does not give you entry into any race.

This year will feature a variety of veteran coaches and mentors from the club. Training will officially start at Severna Park High School on June 30th at 6:30am.  There will be a June 23rd meet up for first timers and Baltimore Marathon runners (of course, others are welcome to join).   Training runs are on the B&A Trail, where we will provide hydration.  You must bring your own bottle/cup.

You must be able to run 10 miles comfortably to begin this training on June 23rd/30th. If you are unable to do this, please consider joining the A10 Training Group and making the A10 your goal race this season.

The training schedule will be posted here and on the Facebook Page before June 8th.  The training plan is subject to change (for reason such as weather).
