The Annapolis Striders club will only survive with volunteers.
We are in need of a Race Director for the Cherry Pit 10 mile run in April.
Also, our current race director for the B&A Marathon and Half Marathon will be stepping down after this year, so the club is looking for her replacement. It would be beneficial if the new director could train under the current one for this year’s race.
Please contact the VP of Racesif you are interested in either one of these positions.
Larry Puglisi, VP of Races

Annapolis Striders Group Runs
Are you looking for a group run to join on a regular basis, but you aren’t sure where to start? You are not alone! That’s one of the most frequently asked questions by newcomers and long-time Annapolis residents alike.
The Annapolis Striders are looking for a leader to organize a low-key weekly running event. It could be a long distance weekend run, a short distance mid-week evening run, or maybe
resurrect the 6-0-6 running group that used to meet daily at 6:06am on Dock Street. The possibilities are limitless, but we need someone to lead the event. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to volunteer.
Once we have a lead volunteer, check future E-Streak announcements for the sign up form to join the fun!
8th Eternal Winter 6 Hour Run Sunday, January 29, 2023
The Eternal Winter 6 Hour Run course is the 4-mile dirt and paved trail within Greenbury Point at the Naval Support Activity Annapolis base.
The run is a FAT ASS style run benefiting the community food pantry at Light House Homeless Prevention Support Center. The Light House Homeless Prevention Support Center has served OUR community as a basic needs provider of food, shelter, and support services for close to 30 years.
Registration is now open for the entirety of the Annapolis Striders Championship Series Races.
For only $35 you can enter all eight of the races ranging in distance from 1 mile to 26.2 kilometers. As a convenience to members only, this event registration will register members for all the races in the series.
Note that this particular registration is not a requirement to be included in the Championship Series ranking and members may choose to register for each race individually for $10 per race in advance. The races will be open to non-members for $15 per race in advance. Race day registration will be available for $25.
Represent the Annapolis Striders in the RRCA Club Challenge! This is a race EXCLUSIVE to RRCA running clubs (such as the Annapolis Striders) in Maryland and Washington, D.C., and NOT open to the general public. The fastest runners from our club in each event contribute to scoring. Events include overall men/women/co-ed, Under 40 men/women, Masters men/women, Grand Masters men/women, as well as overall individual awards.
If you are a current member of the Annapolis Striders, use the link below with the team code 2023AS which pre-populates as you register. Registration is open January 1st until February 16th to club members ONLY. The Annapolis Striders do not supplement the cost of the race, but entrants will receive a specially designed Annapolis Striders team shirt to wear in the race while supplies last. Sign up soon to get the team shirt.
Arrive early (6:45am – 7:40am) for bib pick up and a team photo (7:30am). This is our chance to show Maryland and the District which team is the fastest. For any questionsemail our team captain: Casey@annapolisstriders.org
