Represent the Annapolis Striders in the RRCA Club Challenge! This is a race EXCLUSIVE to RRCA running clubs (such as the Annapolis Striders) in Maryland and Washington, D.C. and NOT open to the general public. The fastest runners from our club in each event contribute to scoring (Scott Koehler, Nicole Dawson, Adam Pegues, Kathryn Pegues, Danny Bennett, Sandi Simon I’m talking about you). Events include overall men/women/co-ed, Under 40 men/women, Masters men/women, Grand Masters men/women as well as overall individual awards.

Arrive early (6:45am – 7:40am) for bib pick up and a team photo (7:30am). This is our chance to show Maryland and the District which team is the fastest. For any questions email our team captain, Casey Rayburg

Registration for the 2022
Annapolis Striders Championship Series is OPEN!
As a convenience to members only, this event registration will register members for all the races in the series. Note that this particular registration is not a requirement to be included in the Championship Series ranking and members may choose to register for each race individually. The only requirement is to be a member before the first race in the series (the Valentine’s 5K) and run the races.
The Annapolis Striders will be paying for the processing fee associated with the 2022 Champ Series.

2022 B&A Trail Marathon and Half Marathon
Kim Teter is our new race director for the B&A Trail Marathon and Half Marathon that is scheduled for March 27, 2022 at Severna Park High School.
Registration is $65 for the marathon and $55 for the half marathon. The race does have a cap of 1,000 participants. If you were registered for 2020 you should have received an email with a discount code for the 2022 race. If you have not received it, please Contact Race Director once your 2020 registration is confirmed the discount code will be sent.

Winter Warriors Couch to 5K
|
|
Participants should be capable of walking briskly for 20 minutes and should check with their health care professional prior to starting any fitness program. Whether you are new to running or trying to return to running, this is a outdoor program for you. This class is intended for all who are looking to “get off the couch with no running experience at all” and do a 5K (3.1 miles) distance.

January 8, 2022 – March 27, 2022
Half Marathon Training
A 12-week build-up program for half marathon runners. This low-key program will guide the participants from a base of 6 miles up to a long run of 14 miles in 12 weeks. The goal will be for all who complete the program to be able to complete the B&A Trail Half Marathon or an alternative half marathon around the same timeframe. You must sign up for the race on your own. They CLOSE OUT so sign up early!

Wrap up the Annapolis Striders first social of 2022 held at the Annapolis Town Center, Thursday, January 13th.
We started at 5:30pm with shopping at Charm City Run Annapolis, located in the Annapolis Town Center, 1910 Towne Centre Blvd., #120, Annapolis, MD 21401. Annapolis Striders members received a 15% discount off full price merchandise!! Thank you and shout out to Bill Frazier, Manager of Charm City Run Annapolis and his staff for opening their doors for us and offering an Annapolis Striders discount!! At 6pm, runners met in front of Charm City Run Annapolis for a fun run around the well-lit perimeter of the town center. Next it was cheers to 2022, you and our first Annapolis Striders social for the year. We met at P. F. Chang’s, 6:30-8:30pm, located 307 Sail Place in the Annapolis Town Center, Annapolis, MD 21401.
