ATTENTION MEMBERS:

We will be having our annual membership meeting on
Tuesday, March 1, 2022 immediately following the board meeting to review the prior year and vote on the proposed slate of 2022 officers and board members.
You may either attend the meeting in person or via Zoom. Additional details will be provided when the date is closer.

The 7th Eternal Winter 6 Hour Run will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 0800.

2022 B&A Trail Marathon and Half Marathon
Kim Teter is our new race director for the B&A Trail Marathon and Half Marathon that is scheduled for March 27, 2022 at Severna Park High School.
Registration is $65 for the marathon and $55 for the half marathon. The race does have a cap of 1,000 participants. If you were registered for 2020 you should have received an email with a discount code for the 2022 race. If you have not received it, please Contact Race Director once your 2020 registration is confirmed the discount code will be sent.

Races are back! Or maybe, to stay active, you have done some interesting virtual challenges over the last year or so. Please submit race reports, articles and photos you would like to share in our next print issue of The Streak.

ANNAPOLIS STRIDERS RUNNER EDUCATION AND
TRAINING
Annapolis Striders membership is required to participate in these training programs. There is no fee for the training programs but you must register.
|
|
Winter Warriors Couch to 5K
Winter 5K class has started but we will
take registrations for a few more weeks.
|
|
Participants should be capable of walking briskly for 20 minutes and should check with their health care professional prior to starting any fitness program. Whether you are new to running or trying to return to running, this is a outdoor program for you. This class is intended for all who are looking to “get off the couch with no running experience at all” and do a 5K (3.1 miles) distance.

ANNAPOLIS STRIDERS BOARD MEETINGS
NEXT MEETING TUESDAY, JANUARY 4, 2022
Due to the rise in Covid-19 cases, we are unable to hold a live meeting at the hospital. This meeting will only be via Zoom.
Please remember that ALL Annapolis Striders members are welcome at our monthly Board Meetings, the first Tuesday of each month 7:00 pm.
Meetings are currently in person on the 7th floor of the Belcher Pavilion of Anne Arundel Medical Center. Masks are required. Room to be determined. The meetings are a hybrid format. Use the Zoom Link if you cannot attend in person.

36th Annual Amish County BikeTour
Super Early Bird Registration is open Save $40!! The pricing is $35 per person or $30 each for teams of 5 riders. The event is September 10, 2022, rain or shine, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm, 411 Legislative Avenue, Dover, Delaware.
