Annapolis Striders member Karsten Brown directs the 24th running of the Shenandoah Valley’s most scenic road race, a hilly and very scenic 10K looping through the foothills of northwestern Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains during fall foliage season. Takes place near Front Royal, about 115 miles west of Annapolis.

Benefits the Caroline County Humane Society. The course is a flat loop course which includes the town’s rail trail and scenic farmland outside of Ridgely, MD. Start at Martin Sutton Memorial Park to Sunset Blvd., to Cow Barn Road, loop around on Oakland Road, to Rail Trail, back up Sunset to finish at the Park.
