I am guessing by now you are thinking, Eva, where can I help? Glad you asked!
Distributing flyers to the various neighborhoods included on the course.
August 24 at 6:00 pm
138 Gibson Road. (Off Cedar Park, across the street from Navy Stadium) We meet at my house and then head out on the course and off the course to distribute the letters. Letters do not go in mailboxes but near them. We have a very large area to cover since we must do The Meadows, Martins Cove, downtown Annapolis, all the communities around Cantler’s, Providence, Mulberry Hills, and the running course. Pizza, beer, water on my deck after we hand out the letters.
Packet Pickup (always a good place to see who else is running!)
Please email me Email Evaand let me know how you can help!
Remember, this race is possible because of volunteers like you!
Thank you for stepping up and helping with the best race in Annapolis!
The course is mostly in deep woods at Rosaryville State Park, though there is some running in meadows also. The trail is largely single track; not very technical. The Start (also the Finish) is at the Pavilion picnic area about three quarters of a mile from where the runners enter the single-track perimeter trail. Hot food after the race starting about 11:30. The race will end at 4:00pm.
The course has two aid stations. There will be a bag drop just before the second aid station, a short walk from the Start/Finish.
