This race was modified from a distance of 5K to 3 miles due to the discovery on race day that the CHS athletic field was being used by the school for lacrosse practice. Since the 5K race normally finishes within the stadium on the athletic field, we were told that the finish line would be outside the stadium near where the XC race started. Other than that the race went off without a hitch.
