This race has been cancelled.
A Maryland RRCA Grand Prix Series Race.
We cannot get a permit for the race. It is cancelled. We will see you on the trails next year.
As of June 3, 2020, we do not have a permit for the race. We are continuing to plan and prepare in case we are allowed to have the event and can do so in a way that provides a safe environment for participants and volunteers. We have made one change regarding preregistration that will still help us in our planning and at the same time make it easier if we are not able to have the race. We are asking that you send us your completed waiver by regular mail or email as directed below without including the race fee for preregistrants. On race day we will collect the fee (cash or check only) and give you your bib.
Completed waivers should be mailed or emailed by July 25, 2020 using the addresses listed on the waiver. Do not send the preregistration fee. To get race information and the waiver click on dogdaysapp2020
Due to construction in 2019 which continues this year, we came up with a modified course. We plan on using the same course this year. Here is the current course map
Traveling South on Route 2 take a left onto College Parkway and enter campus at the second entrance (the one by the barn) and proceed to Lot D which is near the stadium.
Traveling North on Route 2 take a right onto College Parkway and enter campus at the second entrance (the one by the barn) and proceed to Lot D which is near the stadium.
Traveling West on College Parkway turn left at the first campus entrance (the one by the barn) and proceed to Lot D.
Bib Pickup and Race Day Registration
Bib pickup and race day registration will be near the entrance to the AACC stadium starting at 6:30 am.
The start will be where it has been for the past several years —outside of the baseball field near the left field line. The finish this year will be on the track inside the stadium near the entrance to the stadium.
Registration is closed.
The course features a variety of running surfaces. You'll run through sometimes sunny fields, along shaded trails in the woods, down and up hills, and at times on pavement in the heat and humidity that the area is famous for in August.
The College’s roads and parking lots are in use on the weekends and the College permits our usage of the Campus facilities with the understanding that we do not interfere with traffic and ongoing classes.
No wheels, headphones, pets, or baby joggers during the race.
