Transfers and Refunds
We apologize; there are no transfers or refunds issued for our championship-series races.
Out and back 10K course, mostly flat, and run predominantly on the B&A Trail.
**COURSE RETURNS TO THE NORTHERN ROUTE THIS YEAR!**
Runners will depart the school, and head east along Robinson Road to the B&A trail. Runners will turn left to enter the B&A trail, heading NORTH. Runners will cross over several intersecting public streets along the course. Runners will continue to the designated turn-around location near East West Blvd. overpass bridge. Upon turn-around, follow same route back to race finish at Severna Park High School. There will be course monitors positioned to assist you on the course.
There will be one water station located on the course for out-and-back use to accommodate runners at the 2 and 4 mile marks.
(Visit the course description again soon before the race for exact points and course map).
Last year the course ran a southern route due to trail improvements occurring on the northern route. Trail paving is complete and this year as we return to the traditional northern route you will enjoy a slightly wider trail and improved pavement surface!
The B&A trail is a narrow trail with several cross-streets intersecting the race course. Due to the desire for safety for all our participants, volunteers and the community, and for a the best race experience of all runners, NO pets or baby stroller/joggers will be allowed by race participants during the race. Headphones are greatly discouraged for safety, but are allowed provided your listening volume is low enough to safely hear your surroundings. Additionally, race etiquette dictates that participants should not play music on open speakers. This is a distraction to other runners around you. You will be asked to turn off or switch to headphones if observed. Thank you for making this a safe and enjoyable race!
