A Maryland RRCA Grand Prix Series Race.
Update
Due to campus construction and new tree plantings, we have made modifications to the course. Here is a map of the 2018 course.
When you look at the map, you’ll see three loops around the practice fields. Below is a verbal description of what each loop is.
The Start
The start is a cross country style start more or less along the extension of the left field line of the baseball field.
First ½ Mile
Head North along the tree line of the practice fields.
At the gravel road you turn right.
Near the end of the gravel road turn right onto the extension of the right field line of the softball field.
Follow the marked path from the center field fence on the softball field to the center field fence of the baseball diamond and follow path back to start line.
Second ½ Mile
Head North along the tree line of the practice fields.
At the gravel road you turn right.
Stay on the gravel road until you come to the paved sidewalk. Turn right onto the paved sidewalk. (This sidewalk is just beyond where you turned off of the gravel in the first ½ mile)
At end of sidewalk turn right onto Ring Road.
Last Km
You will again be entering the start area.
Head North along the tree line of the practice fields.
At the gravel road you turn right.
Stay on the gravel road until you come to the paved sidewalk. Turn right onto the paved sidewalk. (This sidewalk is just beyond where you turned off of the gravel in the first ½ mile)
At end of sidewalk turn left onto Ring Road and head down the parking lot to the finish near the entrance of the stadium.

Course
The course features a variety of running surfaces. You'll run through sometimes sunny fields, along shaded trails in the woods, down and up hills, and at times on pavement in the heat and humidity that the area is famous for in August.
The College’s roads and parking lots are in use on the weekends and the College permits our usage of the Campus facilities with the understanding that we do not interfere with traffic and ongoing classes. We particularly request that the runners not use Lot C (next to mile 2 of the race) which is used for the motor cycle training classes.
