2017 Dog Days 8K Cross Country Run

5th Leg of the Championship Series.
Our 34th year!

A Maryland RRCA Grand Prix Series Race.

We will use the same course as last year since again the tennis court parking lot is not available to be used as the finish area.  This means that post race refreshments will be in the shade.  Here is the updated course map .

Race Rules

No wheels, headphones, pets, or baby joggers during the race.
Please do not not warm-up or cool down in Parking Lot C; it will be in use for a motorcycle training class.

Results may be found here.

The course features a variety of running surfaces. You'll run through sometimes sunny fields, along shaded trails in the woods, down and up hills, and at times on pavement in the heat and humidity that the area is famous for in August.

The College’s roads and parking lots are in use on the weekends and the College permits our usage of the Campus facilities with the understanding that we do not interfere with traffic and ongoing classes. We particularly request that the runners not use Lot C (next to mile 2 of the race) which is used for the motor cycle training classes.
