If you have registered for
the Annapolis Striders Championship Series….you are good to go!
The date of the race had to move from the first week in April to the second week in May because of scheduling conflicts at the high school. We think this new date will work out well. Now it is not so close to the B&A Marathon. Also, the weather should be warm but not hot; and after the race you will still have plenty of time to go out to your Mother’s Day brunch.

Thirty-nine of the 176 who registered, and perhaps a few more, competed in either the full or half marathon. Ninety-seven runners participated in more than 75% of the group long runs…an average of 61 enthusiastic and happy faces each Saturday AM. They dodged snow, but not the chill as they ran for 11 weeks in an average temp of 32, with a low of 14 and a high of 44 degrees. On Monday evening April 9th about 25 gathered at Union Jack’s in Annapolis Towne Centre to celebrate the conclusion of the training season with Coaches Michael Myers and Dave Dold.
