It was our hope that conditions would change and we would be able to have the race. However, after receiving additional information from various health and governmental officials, we have determined that we will have to cancel
the Cherry Pit 10 Mile Race this year.
Below is a link from the RRCA with some strategies and advice for runners and coaches to help navigate through the current health crisis.
Annapolis Striders membership is required to participate in these training programs. There is no fee for the training programs but you must register.
Additional information about training programs may be found on the Annapolis Striders website.
We were hopeful that the health situation would rapidly improve and we would be able to conduct the 5K and 10K training programs as scheduled. Unfortunately, that has not occurred and the Board determined, in the best interest of our members, that we will be canceling the training programs. We will ask the coaches to email the training schedule to those who have registered for training. In addition, it is the our intent to continue with group training programs as soon as the situation allows. In other words, please follow the training schedule so when group runs commence, you will be ready.
