This low key program will guide participants from a base of 2 – 3 miles to a long run of 6 miles. This program typically targets the Annapolis Striders Dawson’s Father’s Day 10K (Spring) or the Cold Turkey 10K (Fall).Please join us next time. All participants must be current Annapolis Strider members and be able to run 2-3 miles.
Annapolis Striders training classes are a free benefit for members. In order to participate in this training class, you must have a current membership. You may become a member or renew an existing membership online. After signing up as a member (or if you are already a member), you must also register for the training with the registration method for the upcoming session below. Training coaches will not accept membership signups or training registrations in-person at training sessions.
GoalsTo complete a 10K (6.2 mile) race.
Information on safely increasing your weekly mileage, injury prevention, running safety, and keeping running fun. 10K shirts will be provided to those who attend training sessions regularly and complete the program!
