Saturdays 6:30 a.m. Jonas Green Park (JGP) (Rte 450 @ the Important Parking Information Parking:
The parking at JGP is divided into an upper and lower lot. The lower lot is
the area closest to the picnic
tables. The upper lot is the parking area closest to the ranger station. The
upper and lower lot are separated by a slight hill. See attached drawing. Therefore,
effective immediately, we are to ONLY park in the lower lot at Jonas Green.
If this lot is full, you can park at the Severn Inn, the WWII memorial or,
for our veteran runners, at the south parking lot for the B&A Trail (at
450 and Boulters Way). NEW Marathon Pace/Speed Work on Thursdays

6:00 p.m. Quiet Waters Park at Pavilion adjacent to Hillsmere Road. 4-5
miles, marathon pace/speed work run (Note, run will not take place
on first Thursday of month. Please attend our monthly social instead!) Half-Marathon Training Runs
(starts end of December, ends week before B&A Trail Half Saturdays 7:30 a.m. (Rte 450 @ the Non-Training Group Long
Runs from Ad Hoc Runners generally meet at A10 Training Sundays 7:00 am at City Dock

Running Directions to B&A Trail from Jonas Green Park: The 1st 100 yards or so of the Course are uphill from Jonas Green Park on the left side of Route 450. You will see a line and the letter “S” [Start] in the roadway near the WWII Memorial. Run North on Route 450 and at Boulters Way, make a left onto Boulters Way. At Manresa, you will see a "1" which is one mile from the "S." Run up the Boulters Way hill. At the top of the
hill, you will see mile marker zero for the trail. Take a right onto the
B&A Trail. It is about 1.5 miles from the "S"to the head
of the B&A trail. There are mile markers on the B&A trail to help you
gauge your distance. When you have run the prescribed distance, turn around
and come back to |
